Biography: <p>Dr. Ashford is a 2010 graduate of the LSU School of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Dr. Ashford was recognized for his selection of Chief Resident for the year 2009-2010.&nbsp; He was also recognized as having the best obstetrics and gynecology research project; ``Advancing Minimally Invasive Gynecology Worldwide,`` and as a result Dr. Ashford has been selected for special resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.&nbsp; Dr. Ashford received a 2010 membership by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist.&nbsp; Dr. Ashford graduated from Xavier University of New Orleans in Biology/Pre Medicine in 2002 and LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans Louisiana in 2006.</p>

Biography: <p>Charles F. Sale, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN doctor (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) at Pierremont Women's Clinic, part of the Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, Louisiana. He provides gynecology services for women of all ages. He treats menstrual irregularities, abnormal Pap smears and he helps women manage symptoms of menopause.</p> <p>After earning his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Sale went to medical school at LSU School of Medicine. His internship and obstetrics and gynecology residency took place at the Shreveport hospital and medical school.</p>

Biography: <p>Erin Kate Cassiere, MD, FACOG, practices obstetrics and gynecology at WK Doctors for Women in Shreveport, Louisiana, as part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network. Managing both high- and low-risk pregnancies is a special interest of Dr. Cassiere, as well as minimally invasive robotic surgeries. These advanced surgeries that require only three or four small punctures in the abdomen instead of a large, open cut are a huge benefit for patients. They often go home the same day as their surgery and recovery takes only a couple of weeks so patients can return to their normal routines quickly.</p><p>In addition to advanced gynecologic procedures, Dr. Cassiere provides well-woman exams for teens and adult women on an annual basis.</p><p>A native of Shreveport, Dr. Cassiere graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana and LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in Indianapolis at Indiana University School of Medicine. She entered private practice in Utah before returning home to Shreveport. Dr. Cassiere is certified in OB-GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG), and a member of Louisiana State Medical Society and Northwest Louisiana Medical Society.</p><p>Outside the clinic, Dr. Cassiere enjoys cooking and spending time with family</p>
